A very fine Edwardian ruby and diamond Tourbillon ring

A very fine Edwardian ruby and diamond Tourbillon ring, featuring an old mine-cut diamond at its center, encircled by calibré-cut rubies within a rose-cut diamond Tourbillon halo, mounted in platinum and 18 karat gold. Central diamond weight: approximately 1,50 carats. The inner shank is inscribed with an archive reference number.

 

Hallmarks: The French assay mark “horsehead” (tête de cheval) signifies 18 karat gold, used between 1838 and 1919.
