Epoque Fine Jewels is one of the leading companies dealing in high quality antique and period jewellery and top quality precious gems.

The company specialises in the very finest jewellery from the 19th and the 20th century. The collection embraces distinctive jewellery from the Art Nouveau, Edwardian, Art Deco and Retro periods as well as exceptional examples from the second half of the 20th century. The collection shows the work of such famous jewellers as Cartier, René Lalique, Van Cleef & Arpels, Boucheron, Vever, Fouquet, Chaumet, Tiffany, etc.

Epoque Fine Jewels is always on the lookout for interesting pieces, unusual and genuine items, refined and exquisite workmanship and fine quality gemstones: from the ingenious masterpieces of René Lalique, the stunning creations of Cartier to the elegant designs of Van Cleef & Arpels.

Epoque Fine Jewels was founded in 1958 by Mrs. Nicole Verschuere, who had already from the beginning the eye for beauty and perfection. As a Graduate Gemmologist and a passionate art collector, she travelled the world searching for the rare and unusual.

Some twenty-five years ago the company was joined by Mrs. Verschuere's daughter, Patricia De Wit, after completing her studies as Master of Arts, Graduate Gemmologist - H.R.D., Certified Diamond Grader - H.R.D. and Graduate Gemmologist of the German Gemmological Institute (F.G.G.). In 1997 Mrs. De Wit received the "Prof. Dr. Hermann Bank Senior Award" from the German Gemmological Institute in Idar-Oberstein, Germany.

Soon thereafter Mrs. Verschuere's son, Bart Peers, joined the company. After completing his training as a jeweler and goldsmith, he graduated as a G.I.A. Graduate Gemmologist and an Accredited Jewelry Professional at the Gemmological Institute of America (G.I.A.) in New York.
