A whimsical gem-set squirrel brooch by Van Cleef & Arpels, the body finely carved from coral to depict a crouching squirrel holding a small carved emerald leaf. The eye is set with a single cut diamond, mounted in platinum. The highly detailed tail with intricate texturing mimics the natural flow of fur. Crafted in 18-karat yellow gold. Fitted to the reverse with a double pin clip and safety clasp.
