An amusing gem-set duck brooch by Van Cleef & Arpels, featuring wings composed of dark and light blue lapis, intricately carved to resemble feathers and bordered by brilliant-cut diamonds. The tail is crafted from carved onyx, while the head is set with a cabochon sapphire eye and a coral beak. The crest and body are accented with onyx, all mounted in 18 karat gold. The brooch includes a double prong fitting with a safety clasp.
