An unusual gold, diamond, ivory and tortoiseshell Renaissance Revival pendant by Fuset y Grau, depicting ‘la Moreneta’, the black Madonna of Monserrat in Catalonia, set with an oval carved and painted ivory medallion, figuring a Madonna with child highlighted with circular-cut diamonds, the reverse set with tortoiseshell, mounted in platinum and 18 karat gold.
