A very fine Art Nouveau nymph brooch by René Lalique, designed as a winged nymph, part female, part insect, the naked nymph of cast gold has antennae and outstretched wings. The wings are decorated with pale green plique-à-jour enamel, edged with a darker green border flowing into foiled green enamel globules, mounted in 18 karat gold.
