A rare and unusual Art Nouveau brooch by Boucheron, designed as a stylized butterfly, centering upon a diamond and marquise shaped sapphire body, adorned with chrysoberyl cat’s eye eyes, extending rose cut and old European cut diamond openwork wings, set with collet set circular sapphires, the diamond antennae holding a collet set circular sapphire, mounted in platinum and 18 karat gold. Detachable brooch fitting.
