Established in 1988, TEFAF is widely regarded as the world’s pre-eminent fair of art and antiques, presenting dealers selling museum-quality works from every era to a broad base of international collectors and connoisseurs.
In addition to its annual March fair at the MECC (Maastricht Exhibition & Congress Centre) in Maastricht, the Netherlands, TEFAF is expanding in 2016 to the United States, presenting two fairs, in fall and spring, in the center of today’s art world, New York.

Founded by art dealers and run as a non-profit foundation, TEFAF has a long history of working with cultural heritage and art treasures selected by experts in a vast range of specialties. Originally devoted to antiques and exquisite Old Masters, TEFAF has broadened its offerings over the last 30 years to include top-quality examples in every category of art, design, and objects, such as postwar and contemporary art, photography, haute jewelry, works on paper and 20th century design. The most recent edition of TEFAF Maastricht presented 275 of the world’s top galleries from 20 countries, welcoming 75,000 visitors from more than 60 countries.

The fair also hosts curated exhibitions, put together by some of the world’s most innovative curators, and publishes annual art market reports that impact the way people think and talk about art.
